CTSI K Scholars Program 20th Anniversary

September 24th, 2026 | William J. Rutter Center at UCSF Mission Bay

Come celebrate two decades of groundbreaking science and bright minds at the CTSI K Scholars Symposium at UCSF! For two decades, the CTSI K Scholars Program has supported the development of early-career investigators into independent leaders in clinical and translational research.

Join us on Thursday, September 24, 2026, as we celebrate 20 years of mentorship, discovery, and impact at a special scientific symposium. Featuring a keynote by JAMA Editor-in-Chief, Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo, this full-day event will bring together current scholars, alumni, faculty, and the broader research community to reflect on the program’s legacy—and look ahead to the future of careers in clinical and translational research.

PRISM HEALTH SYMPOSIUM

Registration for PRISM 2026 is now open!

PRISM (Promoting Research in Social Media and Health) brings together researchers from across disciplines to explore the intersection of social media, technology, and public health.

This year's program features speakers including Jason Nagata, Dimitri Christakis, Douglas Roehler, Timothy Mackey, MAS, PhD, Tina D Purnat, Jon-Patrick Allem, Jingwen Zhang, and more, along with poster presentations and rapid-fire talks showcasing emerging research from across the field.

From adolescent health and well-being to translating research into action and advancing methods in social media research, PRISM 2026 will explore some of the most pressing questions facing researchers and practitioners today.

We're excited to welcome researchers, clinicians, trainees, policymakers, and industry partners to San Francisco this December for a day of interdisciplinary learning and discussion.
